The details
Activities
Take the time to enjoy the site, and region at your own pace. You can camp on the site or visit during the day. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The beach and boats will be open for swimming and waterfront activities.
Excursions or in-camp activities will be led by the QL summer staff from time to time weather permitting. Potential activities include a canoe trip and lunch across the lake at Ethan's beach, a hike at Scowen Park in North Hatley, Archery, Arts & Crafts, and trip to the Pinnacle at Barnston.
Cost and Fundraising
Apart from yurt rental fees for those choosing that accommodation option, there is no fee for attending this event, however we ask that all attendees, including daytime and overnight visitors, consider making a donation to the Quebec Lodge Foundation.
If you have the means to support, please give generously. Your donations allow QL to continue to offer high-quality, accessible camps. We'll encourage "those following at home" via the the Facebook group to make a contribution that week as well. Let's aim together to bring in $2000+ in donations in celebration and support of Quebec Lodge.
Accomodation
Tenting is free of charge (byo tent), our 3 yurts are available at $150/night (see yurt availability tracker below). The yurts contain 4 bunk beds - one bunk has a double bed for a bottom bunk. To reserve a yurt please specify in your message the dates you want to rent and we'll update the tracker below.
We can accommodate trailers but there is no connection to water, septic, or power.
If you prefer to stay off-site nearby, join us during the day and into the evening at QL!
Food
Meals will be up to participants who will have access to a shared fridge, a sink for washing dishes, and a shared indoor stove. Camp dishes and cooking utensils are available.
